Why do we join a community?

A local church is only as strong as the bonds of love that are constantly being developed and strengthened between its people, as we see in the early church of Acts. For this reason, our communities, also called small groups or home groups, are the lifeblood of the church, and essential to actually being a member. Joining one is as simple as finding out which groups meet in different areas around the city, getting hold of the leader and asking if you can join.

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

Acts 2:42
