Church Life

Communities

A local church is only as strong as the bonds of love that are constantly being developed and strengthened between its people, as we see in the early church of Acts.

For this reason, our communities – also called small groups or home groups – are the lifeblood of the church, and essential to actually being a member. Joining one is as simple as finding out which groups meet in different areas around the city, getting hold of the leader and asking if you can join.

Kids

Kids

We are privileged to have many children in Oxygen Life Church and want to see each one know Jesus from a young age. We want to see them filled by the Spirit so that they can impact their schools, families and friends with the love of God.

Our passionate Kidz Ablaze leaders love our children and connect with them through fun, crafts, worshipping God and learning about Jesus together.

Youth

We believe that young people should be trained, equipped and brought into a genuine family and a true relationship with God – not just entertained once a week. And so we value and prioritize our young people, who will be carrying the truth of Jesus forward in their generation.

Whether it’s Surge (Grade 6-7) or Combustion (high school), we create the space and the forum for our young people to grow together.

Join us on Fridays for Combustion (6:30pm – 9pm) or Surge (7pm – 9pm)

Ready Aim Fire

In an ever-increasing digital world, communication has become more crucial than ever.

Ready Aim Fire is a one year media training programme that exists to train believers to create quality, reliable and inspiring media that’s purpose is to glorify God and be biblically discipled in how to use their gifts.

Students are trained in AV, sound and camera, graphic design, photography, videography, scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, video editing and sound production.

The name READY AIM FIRE comes from the great commission in Matthew 28, where Jesus commanded His followers to go and make disciples of all nations. Our heart likewise is to see students get ready, take aim in the purposes of God and get fired into the nations, using media as a tool to impact many lives.

SEED Business Group

SEED Business Group

As we serve God together as a church, there are also many men and women making their living and interacting with others in various businesses.

SEED is a forum we’ve created in order to inspire, encourage and support each other as we see the Kingdom of God advance in our workplaces, and as we try to set an example as godly people who work as unto the Lord in our various contexts.

Isithembiso Babies Home

Since 2005, when Isithembiso began, we have cared for and placed more than 200 abandoned, abused, or neglected babies in loving homes, whether they were restored to their original families or placed in a new home.

We now have two homes that are able to take a maximum of six children from birth to three years old, and where we provide a safe, healthy and loving environment for these precious little ones.
