A summary of this book:

The book is all about how God, in His great love, has chosen us to be loved by him. He loves us through our drifting from him and patiently waits for his people to return to him, so we can love Him. We are taken through biblical accounts of this love and how it led to the ultimate expression of love, Jesus on the cross!

What did you like about the book?

It is so encouraging to see all the examples of how he loved his people throughout time. How his intent was always for us to know him and love him. The writer does and amazing job of pulling specific examples from the Word to explain and describe what this looked like and how they pointed to Jesus’s ultimate act of love.

What did you not like about this book?

It jumps around a bit but if you read continuously without too many breaks you will be blessed by the thread of the stories.

Who would benefit most from reading this book?

Anyone needing to be reminded of how intentional God’s love is. It is a great reminder of his faithfulness. New converts and those converted longer will benefit.
