This book covers the events of the day in sequence on which the Lord Jesus was crucified and died. The book's purpose is to serve as an introduction to readers of the basic events of the day Christ died. Two questions are addressed in the book. First, how can the presence of Christ on the cross be accounted for? And secondly, what is the abiding spiritual significance of His death for mankind, even to the present day? He proceeds to answer these questions as events of the day unfold, as he looks in depth at the below topics and the various interactions that Jesus has with various individuals.
I so enjoyed the thoroughness and depth which the author went to in researching and writing this book.
The author takes a really serious subject and proceeds to unpack it so well and to keep the reader engrossed in every page and every topic.
I enjoyed it all.
This is a book all Christians would benefit from reading. The understanding of the cross, the anguish of Jesus, and the betrayal, only heightens your appreciation and perspective of what Jesus did for us on the cross.
Yes, without reservation!
Gratitude might be overwhelming!
A refreshing of the awe, and wonder we have to fight to keep fresh in our lives every day of the majesty of Jesus Christ.
