Speaks about intimacy with God but from the perspective of what prevents intimacy. In this case the author looks at what prevented him from having intimacy with God. For him the Lord revealed that there was pride in his life.
The author went to great lengths to list all the areas of his life that revealed pride. Self-pity, unteachable, accusing spirit, offenses and many others. This made the book so relatable, as virtually every person can identify with at least one of these areas.
Enjoyed everything in this book. Easy to read, relatable and to the point. Very impactful. A fairly old book so might be difficult to get hold of.
Would recommend this book to anyone, especially those who hungry for more of God's presence or wondering why they not having breakthrough in their walk with the Lord
